My first day at Summer School was exciting and new to me. I was lucky enough to be assigned to team Nimbus (Web Development Team). The most intriguing aspect of my day was hearing the different team members talk about the extremely interesting projects that they are currently working on and how much they actually impact the world. I had also learned about positive and negative communication skills before being tasked to create my own Web Application together with the members of my team.
My main objective for Day 1 was researching and investigating HTML5 and adding CSS to our final Application. We had on hand help from our mentor every step of the way and was guided in the correct direction. I was privileged enough to receive accurate advice and correct content to easily acquire the knowledge I needed to complete my task. I am looking forward to Day 2.
