So my first day at summer school was exciting as well as informative. The environment at the office was cool and everyone was quite friendly. Kelly taught us some EFFECTIVE communication skills and gave us some tips about how to update our socials and profiles to look better to potential employers. Oliver was assigned our mentor for the week. He taught us quite a bit of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I got to use a Mac for the first time, which was fun but extremely slow :(… But all in all, it was a good day.
