Opening up a broken computer unit, trying to fix it as best as possible, is similar to a surgeon opening up a person except without the blood and trauma. The brain being the motherboard, the heart being the power supply and the veins being the wires. A malfunctioning component can affect the efficiency of the whole system.
On my first day at summer school, with the help of my mentor, I have successfully fixed computer towers. Feeling like a “computer surgeon”, I have connected a new hard drive, power supply, graphics card, networks card and RAM. Overall I would call it a successful day.
