Day 1 was about getting to know your mentors as well as the other summer schoolers.
The day started off with an orientation presentation where we were informed on how immediate works on a day to day basis. Once that was done we had a mini-lecture on Scrum and agile development, we then played a little game to help us understand scrum and agile development a lot easier. We were then introduced to our mentors. I was placed in the iOS department. This was interesting as I had never coded for iOS before. I spent the rest of the day learning the basics and syntax of swift.
Day 2. I became a bit more comfortable and familiar with the daily routine. I will spend the rest of day 2 coding a snake game in swift. So far I am enjoying my time at immedia, it is a great experience!.
