Day #1 of immedia Summer School proved to be a success at the word go! I was introduced to an exciting and upcoming mobile app development know as Tizen which is soon to be rolled out Samsung’s doors in the mere future.
Having been released in the Z series, the OS looks like a promising idea for the company to shift it’s dependence off Google’s android.
Day #1 covered the basic understanding of Tizen web development which was implemented on the html, css and java script platforms. It was a fun fulled day of learning and the fact that immedia was on top of the latest trends in the market took the icing on the cake for me.
I look forward to more learning experience and insightful ideas, with the help of Ntobeko, on designing these mobile applications. In the words of O’shea “Ice Cube” jackson – “Today was a good day”.
