The first day I arrived I was a bit anxious about what we were going to do until I met the Systems Admin and Networking team, who gave me a clear indication of the tasks I was going to do for the week.
Before I met the team, our group had a session with one of the Web Developers in immedia about SCRUM, where I learned that it is a framework for project management that emphasizes teamwork, accountability and iterative progress toward a well-defined goal.
Nevlin, who is part of Technical Support, showed me how to diagnose a computer screen, the different diagnostic tools needed to get the job done, and also showed me how to remove a laptop screen if it has a problem. I learned how to deal with customers on the phone, and how he can assist them remotely when they have a problem, by using the software TeamViewer.
