This week at Summer School has been an eye-opener for me, being exposed to a corporate working environment has been an amazing experience.
Working with Android this week has changed my view on thinking that android is a hard language to learn but with help from my mentor Nosipho, Android has become one of my favourite programming languages.
I have learned that programming is only as hard as what you allow it to be and you can overcome any challenge if you set your mind to it. There is so much that I still want to learn about the IT industry. To know that the people at immedia are really welcoming and open to give university students a chance to find out what it is like to work as a software developer and IT support is awesome.
The people at immedia are friendly and are always willing to help us learn and grow our knowledge about software development. I met the CEO of immedia Anice and he was really inspiring and full knowledge. I have really enjoyed my time at immedia and have learnt a lot. Thanks to immedia for this opportunity at work experience.
