Today was a very fruitful day as I learned how to utilise a tab bar controller and embed other controllers in the tab items, how to use UIWebView to load web content (UIWebView offers basic function of a mobile browser) and how to add a search bar. The search bar was the most troublesome but Joe came to the rescue and saved the day
