This was the final day of the whole experience and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed it. On this day we started with a meeting with the Application development team. Here we learnt how important it is to “Constantly keep learning” and then spoke about opportunities in the Coding industry and whether or not you should start as an intern or Junior developer. Junior Developers work on projects immediately as they start. This has a steeper learning curve but hands on experience. Internships are very good for learning about the experience. Not as hands on but very good if you are not use to the space. Really an eye opening conversation
I then finally presented my final which was a weather application that displayed the weather of what ever city you searched and shows the weather for the next 4 days (I was unable to complete this feature). Demonstration shown under media.
In conclusion I really had a great time with immedia. This Summer School really help me achieve my goal of learning more about the Industry and above that I got to leave knowing android development, API’s and my very own app. Great experience that I would definitely recommend to other people in the field
